Executive & Organizational Consultants, Inc.
helps executives improve their effectiveness, ensuring long term growth and profitability. We accomplish this primarily through Executive Coaching and Advising.
Executive coaching helps executives improve their effectiveness, ensuring long term growth and success. Executive coaching is an ongoing relationship between the professional executive coach and the executive, focusing on the executive taking action toward the realization of his or her vision or goals. Executive coaching uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery to build the executive’s level of awareness and responsibility and provides the executive with structure, support and feedback toward achieving stated, measurable goals.
The value of executive coaching has been studied and was recently reported on the front page of the May 16, 2006 edition of the Wall Street journal. More recently, the College of Executive Coaching quoted a study indicating a return on investment in executive coaching in excess of 500% with corresponding increases in executive productivity and job satisfaction.
Executive Advising also helps senior executives improve their effectiveness, ensuring long term growth and profitability. Executive advising is the delicate practice of providing confidential advice and counsel to members of senior management in an effort to provide objective insight and advice in difficult organization situations or decisions. In recent years, top executives have “grown increasingly beleaguered under pressure from boards, investors/owners, special interest groups, the press, politicians and regulators (David Nadler, HBR, September 2005, “Confessions of a Trusted Counselor.” Consequently, senior managers need close, long-term relationships with trusted professional advisors.
Both executive coaching and executive advising services are highly professional and confidential. These services may be applied in the context of self-motivated, individual behavior change and a desire to understand individual differences and behavior and their impact on business relationships and decisions. These services can also be helpful in aligning personal career goals with organizational strategic objectives, increasing executive retention and in the context of leadership development, succession planning and strategic planning/strategic management. These services may be particularly valuable during times of personal or professional transition and crisis.
